Why not just get the 2" hose? It's not under pressure and unlikely to leak I
would think.

Actually this part should be available as an aftermarket part, it's a
standard neoprene fuel filler hose. Nothing special about it except
the standard sizes are 2", and the 1 7/8" is a bit oddball. But, it's
out there.?
