I'm having my 70 2000 painted this spring along with my hardtop and trailer.
The paint shop guy suggested that we install a one piece polished stainless
trim piece (with a gasket)on the body that matches the profile of the rubber
gasket. I'm going to build a template, place it and see how it looks with
the soft top installed.
