#2 Go in thru the shifter opening in the tunnel with a big channel-lock and 
undo the knurled lock ring.

#3 This one's awkward. You slip a box-end wrench into the tunnel from above and 
slip it onto the nut on the bottom of the shift lever. Then rotate the lever 
until it jams the wrench against the side of the tunnel. Put an open-end wrench 
on the flats at the base of the shift lever and undo it from the nut.
