I was aware of a minor exhaust leak at the manifold that, in the past
few weeks (since the backfiring started), has gotten louder. I guess the
increased leak has caused this issue.
Since the backfires have blown a hole in the rusted seam of my muffler,
I guess I get to do the entire exhaust system now.
