Hi Gp.
The axle failure Q/A I run lockers in my 4.5;4.3;4.1;3.7 & 3.45. The
half shaft failures did not to seem to notice the ratio. We have some
very bumpy tracks out West ( I have run quite a few Eastern tracks too),
although SIR was just mostly repaved (after the double natl!) Any FOT
going to the July 4th SIR (JA) one of my team mates will be there with
his 57 Alfa, or model T based single seater.

How about half shaft failure and running on tracks with bankings?
 Riverside's
T 9 comes to mind, as does Atlanta's Ts 6 (and 5, really)

JS cheers on finding the TR3!!!!

Richard Taylor has the spirit! I just hope that he is as lucky as I
Usually was at driving home after the race!

I know Baxter Culver and his "out of body" TR (the Peyote Special)
I must confess that I built the rear axles and gearboxes for him;
none the less, he is a fine fellow and will be a good chap to add to the
FOT. He also has a good attitude toward racing & people

Well the TR3 still leads the North Pacific Div points. We worked on a
new brake pad (ran completely out of the DS11s and have been out
of the Hardie Ferodo Hi Comp for a long time) The new stuff is strange,
but we will make it work. We went faster than ever at PIR, but not as
fast as the miata with the sequential gearbox. We got all the others,
including an RX7 from the same team that did major poor sportsman
ship team blocking as I lapped him twice. The rival Porsche was last.
More later I have to check the TR3 for the next one! HP
