Kas Kastner recommended using "good quality hose clamps", but I don't
think that's safe enough for racing. Others have covered the conversion.

I did, however, take Kas' recommendation and mounted a Bendix/Facet/Purolator
(they're all the same pump, I think, under different brand names) in the
rear wheel well, behind the driver. This has worked fairly well for me; 
I have an oil-pressure driven safety switch in the circuit. I blanked
off the original fuel pump mount and put a FISPA filter/regulator unit
(from an ALFA, I think) on a plate there, and ran the line around
the back of the block to the carbs.

The 4A's original routing came down pretty much straight from the
tank outlet and ran along the inside of the frame rail. I cut and
bent the line to go to the pump, and then hooked the outlet of
the pump back to the line along the frame.
