I'll not make comments about the comp board or anything at this time.
Suffice to say - they're trying to do _something_ to get the
participation levels up. Whether they are doing the right thing is open
to interpretation.
At any rate, it's a bad idea to mention Mazda RX-7's in this forum (Hi
Hardy!)... there are some folks out there in FOT land that have had
contra-temps with them... I will point out that there were quite a few
RX-7's in E-Prod at the Runoffs(tm) this year. 6 or 7 in fact. Out of 36
entries. Hmmm, 16.667 percent.
'Nuff sad. ;-)
