TR6 Diff flange question

Ok those of Great Wisdom....

        What is the trick to getting the axle flanges off the stub axles
in the diff? I wanted to replace the oil seals as part of this re-build,
but can't get the flanges off the axles...Big Honkin Press? I've tried
hammer, bigger hammer, Blue Hammer, three armed puller, puller + hammer,
all the usual tricks.
