I take mine to a local machine shop which has about a 100 ton press.  I
also suggest that if the flanges are still stubborn, they try a little
heat. then tap with a hammer while under load.  With a combination of the
above techniques, they have always been able to get them apart.  Not rocket
science, just a bigger hammer!

PS.  Make sure the flange is properly supported (i.e. under the center
section of the flange, not the outer area where the bolts go which attach
it to the half shafts) or you may end up bending the flange.
