I purchased a Solid Axle through the group a few weeks ago... the seller
thought it was TR 4A, but it is apparently TR 4. Honest mistake. I
have $140.00 in this... and rather than return it to the seller, I'd
assume sell it for the $140.00 plus shipping.
The rear end (crown/pinion, etc.) seem to be in great shape. The half
shafts/axles were removed prior and are not there.
It is a Girling Axle (not Lockheed). I assume it is TR 4 based on the
following: The front flange is square, not round (indicating it is not
TR 4A) and the metal parts welded to the axles indicate TR 4, not 4A.
Preference will go to a local customer that can pick up... (Los Angeles)
but can ship anywhere.
