Subject: TR 4 Restoration

Good day.

I am in the midst of restoring a 1964 TR 4. As it turns out, I have in fact
found something special. It has been set up for racing from the factory and
has only ever been raced. They seem to believe that it has never seen a
road, only a racetrack. Through some research that I have done I have been
able to find out that 4 cars were sent to British Columbia, Canada for
racing. I know positively that it is not one of these. There are certain
things missing that prove it is not one of these cars. I also know that
there were 3 cars that had some factory racing work done on them and were
then sent to California for additional work to be done there. I am thinking
that I have found one of these cars. Can you please let me know what would
be the easiest way to determine if I have indeed found one of these cars.
Do you know where I could go to get the serial numbers of those 3 cars. If
you have any information that would help me please respond as soon as you
can to percy@telus.net.

Thank you in advance

Christian
