Paul,

Your father obviously loved the VTR Conventions, and it was at the one in
Covington, KY in (I think) 1991 that he was asked by a member of our club to
autograph her slippers. Yes, she was wearing them at the time. 1 slipper had
a 3 dimensional Diana on it, and the other had Charles. So that Ken would
not have to bend over to sign the slippers, she graciously agreed to wrap
her legs around Ken's waist so he could autograph the slippers. Ken didn't
stop smiling all night.

First, I will state that I "borrowed" this phrase from a TR6 racer in
England named Steve Clare, who used to have this on the rear clip of his
TR6.

In addition to the VTR Conventions, I have worn them to the British Car
Festival outside of Chicago. The only comment I got there turned out to be
from a customer of mine who owns a MG. He thought it was funny.

BTW Paul, if you will come over for the TR/MG Challenge, I'll bring the
coveralls.

Happy Holidays to all.

Irv
