On the Peyote, a bung was added to the oil pan, at an appropriate height, and
the temp taken there.

Subject: oil temp sensor

I would like to add an oil temp sensor to my TR3 and am not sure where to
locate the sensor. In Susan's spitfire she has the remote mounted oil filter
and it has an opening for the temperature sensor. However, I'm using the
block mounted oil filter (spin on, with lines for oil cooler). In this setup
there is currently no means of adding a sensor.

Any thoughts?

Thanks!
