One of the things I came into with the Chip Bond spares collection is a
really nice clean TR4 body and frame. Now my shop partners have acquired
more vehicles too and I need to do something with it. For FOT folks or
others who'd give it a good home I'd let it go cheap, I'm thinking maybe
$1000. Otherwise after a little while I'll try Hemmings and the other usual
suspects.
It was intended as a vintage race car. Frame and complete body are clean and
straight, both have been blasted and professionally painted. Body is red
with white roundels. Interior, engine compartment, inside trunk are gray
(primer?) Doors are empty shells with window channel filled (quite nicely!),
no interior, partial stock dash, enough supension to make it rollable. Hood
has holes for hood pins. Trunk is the outer skin on minimal framework only.
No roll cage or other obvious modifications. It's probably not a perfect
candidate for a street re-body but sure will make a pretty racecar. Would
consider delivering in upper Midwest (I'm in Madison WI.) I could borrow a
digital camera and provide pix if desired.
