Bob Kramer forgot the MOST important fact - Screamin' Yellow # 39 was on
the Event T-Shirt ! The picture clearly shows the TR3 having just
completed a pass of a '54 Kurtis KK (DeSoto powered) and about to lap an
Abarth Allemano (Fiat powered) for the second time. So much action in one
photograph.
This was the photo that was to be on the shirt last October (until the
Porsche-nistas got involved...). It helps when your muy good friend and
neighbor (who drives the Abarth) finds a sponsor (a mutual friend) - then
hands him one photo from which to make the selection for the t-shirts he's
sponsoring.
About that Kurtis? Its driven by that muy good friends' father and my
mentor, John Furlow, Sr.
