It seems not only can I not talk without using my hands, I write things that
don't convey my meaning either...

fatter needles...perhaps I should have said phater needles, as what I meant
was that I installed thinner needles in order to "fatten" the fuel/air ratio,
sorry for the mix-up, doh!

regarding how to see if the rotors are out of balance, what I did was to
clean the wheel bearing, oil them slightly, install the rotor/hub combo on
the stub axle (no caliper on it) , rotate it lightly and see if it stops
without moving (as in the heavy spot keeps going to the bottom). I would not
have even noticed this as the brakes normally drag enough to hold the rotor
wherever it stops, and when I pull the calipers off it is usually to pack the
bearing and then the grease is thick enough to hold the rotors where they
stop. But I noticed it when I spun the rotor and noticed that the center
"hat" section on the Brembo rotor was out of round by probably 1?4" or more!
Obviously this is only a gross check for out of balance, and if in doubt,
take them to a shop that can balance a flywheel, and have then check the
rotors (my next stop...)

Just what are erasers made out of anyway?...
