For those of you who offered suggestions for solving my rear wheel lift
problem, I wanted to report back.

I was ready to try all the suggestions (one at a time) until the problem was
corrected. So I started with the easiest one first. Ted S. suggested
that I look at his web site and look at the chart dealing with suspension
stuff. One suggestion was to soften the rear end compared with the front.

That rang a bell and I checked the adjustment of the rear shocks. I had
stiffened them to their highest settings in an effort to correct a previous
problem with the rear bottoming out. After having the spring re-arched, I
forgot to put the shocks back to where they were.

So I set them to the fully soft setting and in today's autocross no wheel lift
occurred. I will not gradually increase the shock's stiffness until I
am satisfied that I have the best setting without the characteristic wheel lift.

By the way, Today, I had 5th fastest time at the event. The cars that beat me
were (in order)

A Formula Ford
A National Champion ASP Lotus ELAN
A National caliber AP Fiero with a quad4 engine
A Z06 Corvette

I'm gradually figuring out the limits of this car with it's new power and
getting faster every event!

Thanks to everyone who suggested possible solutions.

Regards,
Joe Curry
