The entry fee is not that big of a deal since this is only a once in every
ten years event. But I would think there would be some consideration for
cars that only want to run the all Triumph race and not the rest of the
historic groups throughout the weekend. If I actually have myself and my car
ready for the event my only interest is the Triumph race. Even so with that
being said no one has every nailed it down to clarify if current SCCA cars
will even be able to get on the track during the all Triumph race. From an
outsider newcomer perspective the Triumph race I would think is not about
winning and running ten tenths. I view it as an opertunity to run side by
side with some very famous Triumph iron. Whether or not car meets the
competition rules to a tee should be a mute issue. As long as the car is
safe it should be able to run.
I will be there regardless to have fun but at this point entry in the race
is a long shot.
