While the official word from MO might say "No!", we have run an ATV between
paddock and pits etc without any confrontations for the last few years as
have many others. They WILL give you static if you go out into other areas
with one, however.
Mid Ohio is also fanatic about anyone staying in the paddock in anything
other than a motor home. They have in the past been known to toss folks out
in the wee hours for sleeping in tents, cars, trailers etc. Not that any of
us would , but keeping low profile would be suggested. Please also realize
they charge, I think it's $50 for a motorhome. No there is no power sadly.

Now, perhaps Teddy, Mark or Jeff, being from Ohio, can keep the weather
straight out there!
In the past the valley the track is in can get mighty warm and humid and
some very significant downpours have been experienced out there also.
Raingear would not be a waste of space when packing in preparation.
I'll see all of you at Tech!

Hi all!

I just got off the phone with Mid-Ohio security -- I wanted to find out
about personal vehicle regulations, since we wanted to bring a moped.

They allow golf carts and mopeds in the paddock, and do not allow
bicycles or scooters (electric or gas) at all. A golf cart or moped
must be licensed and have a licensed driver to operate outside the
paddock area. Just FYI!

I also called to make sure SVRA got my registration and I got my first
number choice! Good thing, too -- there is not much room to modify
Tris' numbers.

Keep Triumphing,
Susan :)
