We had a discussion about this recently.  With the help of Tony Drews,
Randall Young and Tom Young, this is the scheme we came up.  I've uploaded
it to http://home.swbell.net/cartrip/ODWiring.PDF.  I'm using a Bosch SPDT
relay that I bought off the internet - $6 for three relays, $14 for second
day air delivery. It seems to work pretty well.
