I work in Toronto, and live 25 miles north of the city. We do not have people
wearing masks as you have seen in other countries on TV news reports, nor are
people changing their normal routines.
If you visit a hospital you will have to wear a mask and wash your hands with
antibacterial cream, but other than that things are normal.
The relatively small number of people( of a population of 4 million) who have
been exposed are quarantined, and while it will no doubt be bad for the
economy it really doesn't seem too big a deal.
I guess time will tell.
