I don't think there are any remaining incompatible synthetics on the
market. Mobil 1 certainly is not incompatible with non-synthetics. the oil
in the cooler won't hurt a thing. But if you're in a hurry, why don't you
just leave the break in oil in the car. It'll be fine.

Amici,
After all the talk of how good Mobil 1 is, I am thinking of changing
over.
I'm just getting ready to put the engine back in the car & have to
decide what
oil to put in.
I'm thinking of doing the run in with valvoline (thats what I have
been
running). If I change to Mobil 1 after the initial run in, should I go
to the
trouble of draining the oil cooler, or will that quart or so of oil mix
with
the mobil?????
Running short on time & really dont want to have to try to drain the
oil
cooler.
Suggestions??? Just change what is in the engine & accusump??? or
drain the
cooler too.
Thanks in advance,
Tom
