The best times I have heard of for Triumphs at Mosport were 1:40.7 for a TR4
and 1:44.6 for a Spitfire set in 1965 or 66 by Bill Gray. The cars were
prepared in Canada by Phil Allen, and were very light weight.
He told me the TR4 was doing 7000rpm at the top of the hill where you brake
for Turn 8.
Modern times on this track for Don Munoz'MGB or Uncle Jack's TR4 are about
1:45/ 1:46.
