jack question

Question about a Jack -- not me, but the aluminum one.

I am planning to leave on a trip tomorrow AM and am going to take my jack 
along, but this morning I found a nice puddle of jack oil under it. It 
appears to have come from the o-ring around the valve control that turns 
when you turn the handle. Of course I don't have the proper size o-ring in 
my Junior G-man O-Ring Kit.

Anybody had experience with this problem or any words of advice other than 
filling it and putting a diaper on it?
