Torque wrenches may be checked for accuracy and adjusted to give the correct 
torque. This should be done at least once a year or any time the wrench is 
dropped. I don't know the cost since we have a torque wrench testing tool at 
work so don't send them out for calibration, save for the four-foot long one 
that is too big for the tester. I never liked sending them out anyway 
because how do you know if they are dropped in shipment?

There must be someone in your area that could fix your click-type torque 
wrench. This used to be called calibration but now they call it metrology. 
Always turn them down to their lowest setting when you are done with them. 
They are most accurate in the middle of the range, least accurate at the 
ends.
