Greetings all,
August 13-15 will be the Open Wheel Racing Series (nee CART) event in
Denver Colorado. As with the first years event there will be a support
race featuring Vintage Racers from Rocky Mountain Vintage Racing and
Nostalgia Racing. Trans-Am and Atlantics round out the weekend.
If you're planning to attend and haven't obtained tickets yet, please
mention that you were drawn to the event by the return of the Vintage
cars to the program. They really put on a good show and were bumped last
year by a group who put up $100K for the privilege of taking the spot
from the Vintage racers and were nowhere as popular. There is a need to
convince the promoters that the Vintage group is putting butts in the
seats.
This is a great weekend.
If you are a Vintage racer yourself, there is a RMVR event scheduled the
week prior, August 7-8, at Second Creek Raceway and make a racing
vacation out of it!.
