TR4 puzzler - oil system

I may be showing my ignorance here but does the TR4 have three mains like the 
Spits?  # 1 main feeds #1 rod.  #2 main feeds two rods, 2& 3 and rear main 
feeds #4 rod and cam?  So the center main feeds two rods while the outers only 
feed one?  Or am I all wet?

Steve, who's not real clever on oiling lately...

It seems that when a rod fails, it is mostly #2 and / or #3.

What puzzles me about this is that I would think it would be #1, but that 
seldom happens. Why would I think this?
