Easiest thing to do is find a TR250 apron if that can be called easy. The
hole is already in it. I use stainless screen from Pegasus Racing they have
a variety of screen sizes. Make a frame out of aluminum and Glue the screen
to the frame with silicon glue. Drill your mounting holes through the frame
(try to space your screen so you don't have to drill through the stainless
screen). I use rivnuts so that the frame and screen assembly can be removed
to service the oil cooler. The aluminum frame is one piece cut from an 1/8
inch sheet. Easily cut with a jig saw. Paint the whole mess the same color
as the car and you have a nice professional looking and functional assembly.

I guess it's time to move the oil cooler from inside the radiator shroud
down to the valance where everyone else seems to have theirs. Before I
start cutting, is there a source for premade grills or do we all just
use hardware store screening? Also, once the hole is cut, is there any
tried and true mounting technique or do we just figure it out from
scratch? I suspect someone on FOT has done lots of these before.

Thanks, Don
