Incidentally, the All British Handicap race at the Columbia River Classic is
going to be named the Bill Ames Memorial race.

Congratulation Bill! Bill Ames would be proud.
TR4 #197 found a home in lower left hand corner of the cover of Victory Lane
last month.
I also got a kiss from VL's Pam Shawtraw in celebration of this event.
No swelled head in either case...but very pleased.
Bill Dentinger is the one that gets the really big pictures.
Went to the neighborhood newsstand today to find a magazine to read with
lunch. Picked up a copy of Vintage Racecar and found PEYOTE on the cover. A
couple of pictures inside too, including one from the Mitty. Along with the
Vintage Motorsports "pick of the Liter" article, this goofy car is getting a
lot of press. It's going to get a swelled head.
