I am in the process of building a GT6 Mk 1 race car. After reading Kas's
first book where he says to scrap the original head I have acquired a number
of
later heads. Is there anything else about the Mk 1 block (and crank/rods)
that would render them undesirable as a racing engine? I have a number of
these engines as well as several sets of correct Vandervell bearings.
I would appreciate any opinions pro or con.
