Actually, Kas had an answer for that a while ago.  He basically said a
billet crank really is no better than a nitrided balanced stock crank.  He
said they stopped breaking 6 cylinder cranks once they stared to add weight
to balance.

Kas, can you shed some light on how much weight was added and where?  I am
about to prepare another crandk for the second engine.

Chuck Gee, a fellow TR racer will do the nitriting for a good price.
