I'm installing a Mallory Dual Point to replace the ten year old brain box that really didn't have much brains anyway. Question regarding points setting -- they don't give a gap but they do give a dwell. On my distributor, with the points set at .015 from the factory, the dwell reads 50. Is my dwell meter goofy or should I really reduce the points gap that much?
