Rob, I guess you will not be at the NARRC runoffs?
I have noticed that a lot of corrosion will develop once everything
is exposed to damp/moist air. My suggestion is to fill it with 50/50
antifreeze mixture for the winter. It will prevent any freezing and
prevent oxidation. Joe(B)

pulled the water pump rad, headers carbs. Will draining the block
drain
enough water to keep the head, block,etc safe with a hard freeze. Or
