Jags are numbered back to front. Whacky buggers--what were they  
thinking. Drove me crazy on a 420 I tried to restore (wound up  
selling it as a parts car). In fact the biggest problem the car  
turned out to have was a cracked crank caused by the engine builder  
putting the bearing caps on in reverse order. Turned out that the  
simple fool put the #1 cap in the front. I would have done exactly  
the same.
