Many dual circuit cylinders have stepped bores, at least on front disc/rear  
drum cars. This obviously affects the front/rear balance & displacement  
issues. Slight changes make big differences...

Richard the rpv is to keep very slight pressure in the system  to  minimize 
pad kickback
