I've got a Detroit locker here that I am working on for future use.
My question is this -
The differential carrier has bearings that press onto each side. One side is
worn so that the bearing just drops on and spins. This seems to be a common
problem with these old beasts. Can this area be welded up and reground to get
back to spec? ........or any other fixes?
