Could be a residual pressure valve, could be your seals have lost their
springiness and don't pull back the pucks. We had a long discussion about this
some time ago that centered around girling seals not having lips (they're just
square). I did the simple test of watching the pucks--if you don't have a
residual pressure valve they retreat a little when you let off the brake
pressure. Got to be the seals doing that.

At any rate, if you don't have uprated axles you probably get plenty of rotor
wobble in turns that keeps the pads knocked back. I prefer no drag, so I don't
run residual pressure valves, do have uprated axles and hubs. I get a little
pedal fluff now and then, but it's better than fading out your brakes. The
biggest problem I have now is pad tapering. Pads don't last long.
