I did practice this pushing the wheel into corners a lot. Most instructors
telling this.

Ah. Yes, use of only the right hand in right-hand turns does seem a little
odd. That said, I do prefer to pull the wheel toward me rather than pushing it
away. Larger muscle groups are involved that way and the wheel is steadier.

Hi Scott,

it is okay, if the right hand is doing the work on a left hander but in this
video at right handers the left hand is remaining in the same position and
sliding along the steering rim.

We have a spitfire in our group and I once had a sit check in that car and
didn't find any interference of the elbow with the racing seat or the cage or
the side impact protection.

Cheers
Chris

I'll send you one of my videos, then. There's no space between the Spitfire
door and the seat's "wing" (rib area). I can't get my elbow down very low when
turning left. Consequently, in left turns, my right hand does most of the work.

Too bad that the car was crashed tough. All these Triumphs seem to suffer of
weak axles.

Chris

Does anybody have the details of a Group 44 Spitty wearing just the Number
4 rolling recently? It seemed to snap spin for no apparent reason then dug
in. One of our's no doubt. The track had a lot of big pine trees....

See if this link works.
