While we are on the subject of cutting open the oil filter;
A quick comment on this:
(only because I have seen 2 people recently not look not far enough towards
the center of the filter)
The bad stuff (if it exists) is not seen until you go deep into the inner
folds of the filter.
Hope you see nothing.
