Hi Guys,

a Dutch magazin wrote a little report about the last race. Maybe funny to
read.
I tried to make a bad Computer translation from Dutch to English:

++++++++++++++++++
the fifth race weekend for Gompany Box Youngtimer Touring Car Challenge is
the excel weekend of August held at the famous circuit of Zolder in Belgium
TeriaemelL so was the scene for the drivers in touring and sports cars to
suwjaar 1990 there was held in the '..' oorprogramma of the 24 Hours of
Zolder. together with the Belgian Young Timer Cup

e collaboration of two equal racing classes was late about because Conipany
Box YTCC a month before the Ilistoric Gnind Prix at Zandvoort. which also
took place the same weekend, withdrew from that event. Some riders chose to
ride it to another class or) Zandvoort, but many others finally stood still
at the start in Belgium. This resulted is a nice start grid of 32 beautiful
race cars. What it soon became clear was that the Belgian and Dutch Young
Timer racing well mnatcht. Not just on the cock, but also in the paddock.
Got along well with each other. Riders from the Low Countries It was hard
ridden in Zolder, very hard. The fastest top drivers from the Conipany Box
YTCC were not all present, but there were able to reasonably resist the
Belgian circuits on very experienced Bclgian Young timer drivers. That
resulted in the two races on Saturday 'ear the start of the 24 Hours of
Zolder a nice battle for victory between the Porsche drivers liie Moortgat
of Belgium and Peter Stox from the Netherlands. In addition, it was also
immediately eenstrijd between two generations of Porsche 911 Die Moorgat
from the seventies and that of Stox from the eighties. The Dutch
entrepreneur won the first race by a margin of 0.228 seconds. The Belgian
race two put his name not a difference of 1.1 second.
Smullen
Especially the second race weekend was left to feast there orn the more than
38,000 strong audience was regularly 01) in the Attic so familiar concrete
benches. Especially the fight behind these heath gentlemen. The Dutchman
Ruben Anders knew in his BMW M3 E30 ward in the strong field is not a
seventh and fifth nicely
place. Mick Young had spent more than a year, former Blekemolen Renault 21
Turbo not start, and soon found pace left back should be a fourth place in
race 1 and a trip into the grindhak in race 2, but the great favorite of the
audience was finally YTCC-driver Christian Marx from Germany in a fat IMSA
Triumph TR8. A car that in Canada only three copies have been built. The
mighty Rover V8 roared so terribly in the front, in little village -Hasselt
a few kilometers away the windows were shaking in the rebates. The car with
too much horsepower had left not easy on the circulation and especially the
brakes had a hard time. Christian. Marx drove the car to a fifth and eighth
place, with particular that eighth place felt like a victory. The entire
second race he had to stick with Jan van Eldereu in his Ford Sierra RS 500
Cosworth and Renault Alpine A310 V6 of Randall Lawson. The three riders knew
more than twenty minutes in the race to change regularly. Penny Marx won
'the battle' eventually sipping Jan van Eldercn and Randall Lawson a lap
before the end retired with a gear lever came loose.
The Dutch Company Box riders showed that they do not end up seeing their
trip to Belgium had made not to start. Zandvoort the right choice It was not
just tuck (Ie Belgian frites, but also delicious struggle (Ie job. Coimipany
The Box YT'CC has been a great season behind no races at Zandvoort,
Floekenheim, Assen, Zolder and Dijon. The final match takes place p perhaps
the most famous race cock all the N|rburgring. together again not the
Belgian pilots which certainly guarantee much spectacle.
++++++++++++++++++++

Cheers
Chris
