Before you tear into the relay box, check that the proper terminal on 
the box is getting voltage when the RH turn indicator is selected.  On 
my BN2, this is terminal #4, and I wouldn't be surprised if it's not the 
same as your BJ8 (but can't verify). The relay is sealed with spot 
welds, which will have to be drilled out if you need to do brain surgery.

The trafficators have a sliding 'switch'--really, just a piece of brass 
that gets moved over a brass terminal when an indicator side is 
selected--and if this gets out of whack you will get the same result.  I 
got into mine to, ahem, 'improve' it, messed up this 'switch' and got 
one side to work and not the other.
