 Yes it has to be pressed/driven out from the bottom, they're a pretty tigh=
t fit.Also over the years I've run into several replacement bushes with the=
 ID & OD bore axis slightly off, enough to cause misalignment on the oil pu=
mp drive end with the pump fitted up, so that's another point to pay close =
attention to when replacing them...Glen

I'm pretty sure you have to remove the bushing from the bottom, but there m=
ay be a chance to remove from the topside with an inside bearing puller/sli=
