There are some events for sure, more than on my List. No idea about France.
I would say,
2019/04/26-28 - Jim Clark Revival Hockenheim/Germany last April weekend is a
big one with up to 500 cars.
2019/05/17-19 - Spa Classic, maybe slightly more cars than Hockenheim.

Side note. Alison and I are bringing the kids to the UK and France for a trip
in late May early June this year. Any advice on renting a car to drive around
UK and France? Best way to get from the UK to France with the rent car? Any
good races or events we should schedule to attend?
