If the head gasket has a round bore it will leak on a heavily machined
cylinder head because the combustion chamber around the intake valve will
increase in radius and create the ""Mickey Mouse ear" that eliminates the
contact area with the sealing ring on a round head gasket opening.  Mordy
makes my solid .030" copper annealed head gaskets for a .125" milled steel
head and use copper wire fire rings above and below the gasket for added
sealing. Coppercoat sprayed on several coats and 2 to 3 thousands liner
protrusion.   ARP hardware.
