Hi Bob,
There is no magic setup so just tune accordingly. If you do not have an off
idle hesitation now but one appears when you install the 30's you have gone too
far, try 29's. If you do not have a o2 sensor you will be dead in the water and
just guessing at your jetting. You main signal strength will decrease when you
install larger chokes therefore you most likely will have to go down on the air
corrector or up on the mains or both.

 Hi,
I poked around in the archives and found a few TR6 references with Weber
jetting, but for the most part the references fail to mention the choke tubes
for the setups.
I've been running 28mm chokes since forever and was looking to swap in some
30mm chokes but I may have to do the swap without access to a dyno.
So, the question is: if you change to different choke tubes, do you need to
re-jet? I know the answer is yes, but I'd like to see some examples for folks
that have done this (change from 28's to 30's or similar).
If you don't want to share setups on the list, I understand, but I figured in
the interest of science, some real references would help establish a baseline.
And yes, I know how small changes in the jetting can pay dividends. I've seen 7
or 8 HP gains playing with air correctors!
Feel free to respond off list.
