I have my mirrors out on the front wings just because they were there
when I bought the car 18 years ago!

I never got around to filling the holes and relocating them, even though
I have done two complete paint jobs in that time frame.

They are a pain to install/remove due to the holes being just behind the
inner shield; they are a pain to adjust, even with an assistant; the car
cover never fits correctly; when I take the cover off, the mirrors move and
have to be readjusted (see above); they are always bumped whether in the
garage or at a show or parked at a friend's house (see adjustment thread,
above, above); they really don't give a good view of following or overtaking
traffic (I have the flat glass style); they are in the way whenever the
bonnet is raised; etc, etc, etc (please add your own gripes here

But, in my opinion, they really look good way out there!!!!!
