Dave,

I don't think you are old fashioned, but understand why we own a Healey
in the first place. It is not for a mega watt sound system with a multi
CD
player and  finger tip control. Nor is it for a fully synchro 5 speed
rice 
rocket transmission and whatever else one feels the need to "creature
comfort" a Healey. The Healey was made to be driven and appreciated
for what it is, not what you think it should be. Take the time to drive
the 
open roads and smell the roses, enjoying the sweet sound of a machine
made in the era when people took the time to enjoy life (and a
Guinness!!).
