Pertronix with DM6A

Thanks to everyone who responded on my Pertronix question. Turned to be out 
that LU-165 is the correct Ignitor for DM6A distributors and cars converted to 
neg. ground. Received the information from someone who said the ignitor has to 
be modified to fit into the DM6A. Is that right and how can I do this?
