My pal Martin Jansen (the Jule chassis dude) put a 3.8 Jag in a 100 (BN2
I think) a few years ago and showed it off at the 1996 Conclave in
Asheville, NC.  It was a superb bit of craftsmanship and it ran like a
scared rabbit.  Stopped good too via the Cameron rear disk brakes.

Ahh - but the V8 weighed somewhat less than the four that it replaced. 
Even better balance. It appears from the responses that "some" have done
it. Just pulling your chain a bit.
