Seems that several Healey folks go down the Jaguar MkII road at some point.
There is a very good list similar to the Healey list called Jag Lovers. You

There are many parts to Jag Lovers but you are looking for the Saloons
section. There are some very knowledgeable owners involved and they can
answer
your questions. My Jaguar has been waiting in line for restoration for 12
years so I'm not the right guy to offer advise. I would say that things on
older
Jags are expensive. You can easily put $6K in the interior, $5K in chrome,
and another $5K in an engine. So as with any old car, buy the best one you
can
afford.
